Seed industry activity comprises marketing of seeds, packing, sealing or labelling of seed, preparation of mixtures of seeds permitted by the Seed Marketing Regulations and cleaning, treating or other processing of seed intended for marketing. The Regulations also, among other things: provide for the licensing of crop inspectors, seed samplers and seed testing stations; provide for enforcement of seeds regulations; and gives requirements relating to sampling.
