Résumé

These regulations amend the Seeds of Agricultural Plants and Vegetables Regulations,("the principal regulations"). The scope of these regulations is to transpose Commission Implementing Directive (EU) 2021/415 of 8 March 2021 amending Council Directives 66/401/EEC and 66/402/EEC in order to adapt to the evolution of scientific and technical knowledge, taxonomic groupsand names of certain species of seeds and weeds. Amends Schedule I to the principal regulations. 2. Certain regulations included in Schedule I are substituted. In schedule II the following items are amended: the footnote of Table 1.6; paragraph (b) of item 4 under Section I Cereals; Item C under Table 1.7 concerning crops to produce certified seed of hybrids of certain plants is amended at item 1 concerning varietal identity and varietal purity and at item 2 concerning the isolation distances among crops. Schedule III of the principal regulations is also amended at item A and item C of Section I Cereals, as well as at Table 1.17.
