Résumé: The present Law implements the Non-Edible Animal Products Disposal Act of 25 January 2004 (BGBl. I p. 82). In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to the correct and efficient enforcement of the afore-mentioned Act in Saarland. The text – consisting of 11 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: responsible authorities for the disposal of animal by-products, catchment areas, costs, competences, prosecution and punishment of offences, transitional provisions, entry into force.
