It, among other things, prohibits the importation and manufacture in Palau of reef-toxic sunscreens. It is hereby declared the policy of the government of the Republic of Palau to promote the development of a visitor industry in Palau consistent with the Palau Responsible Tourism Policy Framework and market Palau as a high-value tourism destination with a high quality tourism product, that envisions "Pristine Paradise Palau" and that is environmentally friendly. It is the responsibility of all visitor-oriented government and quasi-government agencies to assist and participate in the implementation of this policy, and to coordinate with the public and private sector businesses in furtherance of this policy.
