They do not apply to imported tomatoes that comply with specified international standards (including Codex Alimentarius). The Regulations prescribe classes for tomatoes and standards for such classes of tomatoes. The Regulations also provide rules relative to packing and marking of containers for tomatoes and inspection of tomatoes.
