Entry into force notes

These Regulations enter into force on 1 October 2011.

Résumé

These Measures are formulated in accordance with the Fisheries Law of the People's Republic of China, aiming to strengthen the protection, increase, development and reasonable utilization of fishery resources, develop aquaculture, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of fishery producers and aquatic product quality and safety, and promote the sustainable development of fishery production. The Text consists of 53 Articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions (I); Aquaculture (II); Fishing (III); Increase and protection of fishery resources (IV); Aquatic products quality and safety (V); Legal liabilities (VI); Supplementary provisions (VII).
