Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Résumé

In order to prevent the introduction of classic swine fever, the entry of the following items is prohibited: a) live domestic and wild pigs; b) semen of domestic and wild pigs; c) the embryos of domestic and wild pigs; d) fresh meat of domestic and wild pigs; e) meat products of domestic and wild pigs that were not processed in a manner that safely destroyed the virus of classic swine fever; f) products of animal origin (from pigs) intended for agricultural, industrial and other use that were not processed in a manner that safely destroyed the virus of classic swine fever; g) products of animal origin (from pigs) intended for pharmaceutical or medical (surgical) use, that were not processed in a manner that safely destroyed the virus of classic swine fever; h) pathological material and biological products (from pigs) which were not processed in a manner that safely destroyed the virus of classic swine fever.
