Résumé This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food establishes the conditions to be met by animal shelters for abandoned animals. Such shelters must be registered to operate shelters and must have at least: (1) space for a customer and keeping records; (2) place to practice veterinary medicine; (3) sanitary facilities for staff; (4) space for food preparation and storage; (5) place to store equipment for cleaning and disinfection; (6) place for bathing and cleaning animals; (7) isolation accommodation for dogs; (8) isolation accommodation for cats; (9) accommodation for dogs; (10) accommodation for cats; (11) living space (cages or appropriate containers) for other pet animals; (12) place for sick or injured animals; (13) place to store killed animals; (14) space for the release of dogs. This Regulation is composed of 24 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Conditions (Sec. 2); Arrival of animals (Sec. 3); Accommodation and care of animals (Sec. 4); Departure (Sec. 5); Records (Sec. 6); Veterinary care (Sec. 7); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 8).
