Résumé This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Management of Genetically Modified Organisms Act, and in accordance with the Directive 2001/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms, sets out the elements and scope of the risk assessment for deliberate release of genetically modified organisms into the environment and the methodology for its production. The subject of risk assessment for deliberate release of GMOs into the environment is the identification, analysis and evaluation of possible impacts of intended deliberate release of GMOs on the environment or human health and determination of risk levels and necessary measures in accordance with the prescribed criteria.
