Résumé This Regulation aims to ensure consumer protection and safety of food and feed. The Regulation sets forth the principles and procedures of official controls of food and feed and methods and techniques of control such as sampling and analysis. It also covers the principles and procedures of the official controls of imported food and feed at the points of entry and at customs and preventive measures to be taken in case of suspicion. The Regulation further covers provisions on labelling of food and feed, traceability, risk assessment and prevention and early warning systems.
