Résumé This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on noise protection, prescribes the maximum permissible noise levels with regard to the type of noise source, time and place of such noise occurrence. The provisions of this text shall apply to the time period 'day', the time period 'evening' and the time period 'night' as well as to the all-day period 'day-evening-night'. The beginning, end and duration of time periods shall be determined by a special regulation governing the area of noise protection. Zone of mixed, mostly business purposes with housing, with occasional housing, mostly agricultural holdings are also included in the noise list-table (see article 4). Noise source is any machine, device, installation, plant, technological process, road traffic, railway traffic, air traffic, water traffic, as well as noise of industrial plants and plants, electroacoustic device for broadcasting music and speech. Sources of noise are also considered units as immovable and movable objects and open and closed spaces for recreation, games, dancing, plays, concerts, ect.
