Résumé

The purpose of this Regulation is to reduce the impact of pancreatic disease (PD) in a declared PD zone, to prevent PD occurs in a surveillance zone and to restrict the propagation of the individual subtypes of Salmonid alphavirus (SAV). The Regulations require fish in certain conditions in aquaculture installations to be examined at least once a month. Samples shall be sent to an accredited laboratory. The Regulation sets out criteria for the accreditation of laboratories. In case the disease is detected, samples will be sent to the National Reference Laboratory. Measures are prescribed in case the disease occurs somewhere and in respect of surveillance zones. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority shall be responsible for supervision and may take the necessary measures to implement the provisions of this Regulations in accordance with the Food Act.
