Résumé

This Regulation determines small quantities of foods, the conditions for their production and the labelling requirements regarding the hygiene regulations that must be fulfilled by food business operators that produce small quantities of foods at the primary production level and supply them directly to the end consumer or to local retailers directly supplying the end consumer, also for the implementation of: article 1(c), point 2 of Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs, as last amended by Commission Regulation (EU) No 579/2014 of 28 May 2014 granting derogation from certain provisions of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the transport of liquid oils and fats by sea; and article 1(c), point 3 of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin (OJ L 139, 30.04.2004, p. 55), as last amended by Commission Regulation (EU) No 1137/2014 of 27 October 2014 amending Annex III of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the handling of certain offal from animals intended for human consumption (OJ L 307, 28.10.2014, p. 28), (hereinafter: Regulation 853/2004/EC). This Regulation further lays down: the conditions and maximum permitted volume of slaughtering of rabbits and poultry at the place of origin for the purpose of direct delivery to the end consumer or other retail establishments directly supplying the end consumer with that meat as fresh meat, for the implementation of point 3 under (d) of article 1 of Regulation 853/2004/EC; the conditions and maximum permitted volume of delivery of small quantities of wild game or game meat for the purpose of direct delivery to the end consumer or other retail establishments directly supplying the end consumer, for the implementation of point 3 under (e) of article 1 of Regulation 853/2004/EC; the maximum quantities of foods of animal origin that a retail establishment may supply to other retail establishments directly supplying the end consumer for the implementation of indent (ii) of point 5 under (b) of article 1 of Regulation 853/2004/EC; the conditions for the slaughtering and use of the meat of animals slaughtered on tourist farms for the purpose of preparing food for their guests.
