Section 5 imposes the same requirements on the import of timber. The Quarantine Officer shall either issue a permit authorising the delivery of plants or goods or order the plants or goods into quarantine (sects. 8 and 9). Section 16 deals with the treatment or reconditioning of plants, fruit, vegetables, and other goods. The Director of Quarantine may order vessels into quarantine under section 20A. The remaining regulations provide for the importation of specific goods and the importation of insecs. The only Schedule contains forms of application for the importation of seed and bonds.
