Résumé

The Danish AgriFish Agency shall establish regulations concerning the grant of subsidies for the maintenance of wetlands in agricultural and natural areas, as part of the Agency's projects for the construction of wetlands; and in agricultural and natural areas included in the Agency's projects referred to in the EU-Directive on the criteria for awarding funds for wetland restorations. If applications for subsidy include areas which are part of a project for the maintenance and care given to owners and tenants, priorities shall be set in collaboration with the Danish Forest and Nature Agency within the project framework. Agreements for funding shall begin from 1 September following the date in which the project is completed and ending on 31 August of the following 20 years. Areas shall not be targeted for forestry. These areas are not subject to imposed forest reserve obligations. Pledge year begins on 1 September ending on 31 August of the following year. Criteria for subsidy in this Order does not apply to areas covered by easements pursuant to Order No. 892 of 22 September 2005, Order No. 893 of 22 September 2005, or by easements related to subsidy agreement for the establishment of wetlands pursuant to Order No. 187 of 20 March 2003 and Order No. 84 of 12 February 2004. Areas should be designated as pasture or natural. If commitment areas are classified as grassland, heath vegetation or other vegetation suitable for grazing and cutting, the existing vegetation shall be maintained. Forest areas where drainage conditions do not hinder plant cover must be planted with more than 25% nitrogen-fixing plants. The Danish AgriFish may grant exemptions to plant and vegetation cover, and may be amended to the benefit of the environment.
