The purpose of the aforesaid fisheries shall be study of aquatic biological resources and natural habitats thereof, state monitoring of aquatic biological resources, search for new fishing areas and new species of aquatic biological resources subject to fisheries, assessment of fish stocks and elaboration of prevention arrangements for the conservation of aquatic biological resources and natural habitats thereof. The aforesaid fisheries shall be carried out in accordance with annual plans elaborated by scientific research organizations and institutions and validated by the Federal Fisheries Agency.
