The state control and supervision shall be carried out by the Federal Nature Management Service and by the regional executive bodies. The state forest inspectors shall have the right: (a) to suppress and prevent the infringement of forest legislation; (b) to supervise over the observance of forest legislation; (c) to draw reports on forest management; (d) to inspect means of transport and detain them in case of necessity; and (e) to inform citizens of the results of supervision over the observance of forest legislation. The state forest control and supervision shall be carried out in the form of inspections.
