This Decree enters into force upon signature.
Résumé

This Decree sets out provisions on volume of timber logging, transport and procurement of wood and responsibilities for violation of the Law. Stem-only harvesting shall be carried out in accordance with the forest management regime as forest restoration, thinning of density, sanitation harvest and salvage cutting. In case of forest fires, emergency situations and if there is a risk of fall of trees on the communication or power lines, stem-only harvesting can be conducted without the consent of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. Furthermore, this Decree sets forth the principles and procedures of preliminary work, suspension and requirements for stem-only harvesting. The rules for timber logging with the purpose of forest restoration and thinning of density and the volume of timber logging shall be determined according to tree age and category of forest while carrying out forest work within the forest fund in district.
