Roasted malt extracts and the additives specified by Ministerial Decree No. 209 of 27 february 1996 can be used for beer processing. Article 2 of this Decree concerns sale designation. Foaming substances cannot be added nor used for the production of beer (art. 3). The Ministry of Health may authorize by Decree the use of ingredients other than those allowed by articles 1 and 2.
