Résumé This Plan, consisting of 116 sections divided into ten Parts and completed by five Schedules, sets the zoning plan for the Moreton Bay Marine Park. The purpose of this zoning plan is to protect the environment within the Moreton Bay Marine Park. The park is divided into four types of zones: general use zones, habitat zones, conservation zones and marine national park zones. Under Part 2 Requirements for particular applications for permissions are specified. Part 3 regulates the purposes and the operation of the different zones, specifying entry or use in these zone with or without permission. Under Part 4, nine designated areas are reserved for special management. The remaining parts include provisions on additional purposes for entry or use, accreditation, restrictions on activities in the marine park, etc. The plan is completed by five Schedules, such as: Zones; Designated areas; Particular protected species; Restricted and excluded animals for fishing or collecting; and Dictionary.
