The Agency shall function under the supervision of the Secretary of State for rural development and livestock who may give, from time to time, directions to the Agency. The objective of the Agency shall be to promote and participate in the development of livestock and related and associated industries. Specific powers to implement this purpose are set out in article 4. Functions are also extended to livestock health measures and programs, and exportation of animals and animal products. Organs of the Agency are specified in article 7 and include a Board of Directors and a General Manager to be appointed by the President of the Supreme Council. Functions of the Manger are set out in article 11. The capital of the Agency shall consist of the Livestock Development Fund and the Hides, Skins, Leather and Associated Industries Development Fund.
