The Legislative Decree entered into force on 12 May 2011.
Résumé

This Legislative Decree implements European Union legislation concerning the port State control system for purposes of complying with international standards on maritime safety, maritime security and protection of the marine environment. The Legislative Decree regulates inspection procedures on ships stopping at Italian ports.
