Résumé

In accordance with the rules and principles laid down at the European Union level by Directive 2012/27/EU, this Legislative Decree sets out measures for the promotion and improvement of energy efficiency. Further it lays down rules designed to remove barriers in the energy market and overcome market failures that impede efficiency in the supply and use of energy. The Decree specifies the national target on energy saving; sets up the National Fund for Energy Efficiency; defines the tasks and duties of the ENEA as regards the adoption of plans for energy efficiency; lays down the penalties to be applied to companies not complying with the provisions hereby established.
