Résumé The purpose of this Law is to comply with European Union Directive 2001/77/EC and consequently to promote an increase in the contribution of renewable energy sources to electricity production in the internal market of the country. The text lays down procedures for obtaining a license (mandatory) for electric power production and the establishment of plants. Also, a Guarantee of Origin, a certificate issued by the competent authorities, is requested in order to ascertain that the electricity produced comes from renewable energy sources.
