Résumé This Law amends certain provisions of the Law on the civil protection system (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia 82/2015, and already amended in the Gazette 118/2018). Changes are regarding the contents of article 22a which is amended as follows: “(Paragraph 1) In the event of special circumstances that imply an event or a certain situation that could not be foreseen and which could not be affected, and which endangers the life and health of citizens, property, environment, economic activity or causes significant economic damage, The Civil Protection Headquarters of the Republic of Croatia makes decisions and instructions that have to be implemented by civil protection headquarters of local and regional self-government units. (Paragraph 2) Decisions and instructions referred to in Paragraph 1 of this article shall be made for the purpose of protection of life and health of citizens, preserving property, economic activity and environment, and for harmonizing actions of legal persons and citizens".
