The Government Agent publishes notices calling upon owners of abandoned land to prefer their claims (sect. 2). Every notice must be published in the Gazette (sect. 2). Where no claim is made in pursuance of such a notice, the Government Agent shall report to the Minister in order to make an order of resumption by the State (sect. 3).
