I p. 158). The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the transport of animals, parts thereof, animal products and raw materials through the Kiel Canals. In particular, article 2 of the Ordinance establishes that when going through the Kiel Canal, no animal may leave the vehicle. Moreover, the Captain of the vessel shall notify the competent authorities at least six hours before passing the Kiel Canal. The text consists of 6 articles.
