The consolidated text of the Decree entered into force on 11 February 2012.
Résumé

This Decree must be applied to food intended for final consumption as defined in Act No. XLVI of 2008 on food-chain control. Articles 3-14 contains general rules for labelling of prepacked food. In particular rules concerning the method and content of labelling, the name, ingredients (specified in Annexes 1-5) of the food, the quantity of certain ingredients or categories of ingredients, the net quantity of the food, the date of minimum durability and the “use by date”, any special storage and use conditions. Article 15 provides rules for non-prepacked food. Articles 18 foresees the use of the batch identification mark.
