Résumé

The Regulations provide for official recognition of an organization or association by the Secretary of State for the purpose of maintaining a stud book. They specify the criteria which must be satisfied in order to become recognized. The Regulations: specify the circumstances in which a recognized organization must enter a horse in the main section of its stud book and permit a recognized organization to divide the main section of its stud book into different classes according to the horses' merits, but prohibits it from doing so for other purposes.
