This Decree enters into force on 1 January 2020.
Résumé

This Governmental Decree establishes the procedure for handling of confiscated wild animals in captivity, whose return to their natural habitat is impossible. It shall be applicable to legal persons and individual entrepreneurs that keep and manage wild fauna species, including in zoos, circuses, zoological theatres, dolphinaria and oceanaria. Treatment of confiscated animals shall be decided by the director of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Management or officials authorized thereby, heads of territorial bodies of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Management taking into account the opinion of state bodies of veterinary supervision about the safety of their subsequent use within one month from the date on which the confiscation order of the animals enters into force.
