Entry into force notes
This Governmental Decree enters into force on 1 January 2021 and shall be valid until 1 January 2027.
Résumé

This Governmental Decree establishes the procedure for conservation and liquidation of waterworks and the procedure for constituting commission for inspection of waterworks and the adjacent territory on which they are located. Decision on conservation and/or liquidation of waterworks shall be made by: (a) the owner of waterworks, with the consideration of legislative requirements of the Russian Federation on safety of waterworks, water legislation, urban planning and environmental protection legislation, in case of expiry date set by the project documentation for the operation of waterworks and the impossibility or inexpediency of its further operation, as well as in case of risk of the outbreak of emergencies; and (b) by the authorized executive body of the subject (region) of the Russian Federation, on the territory of which waterworks are located, ownerless waterworks or whose owner is unknown or the ownership of which renounced the rights thereto, taking into account the proposals of state authorities, local self-government bodies, on the territory of which waterworks are located, in case of the necessity of its preservation and/or liquidation.
