Résumé These Rules establish the procedure for the inspection and assessment of objects of accumulated environmental damage, except for impact on human life and health, performed by regional public authorities or local self-government in agreement with the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Environmental Management. In order for state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation or local government bodies to conduct a survey and assessment of objects of accumulated damage, a corresponding request shall be sent to the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Environmental Management for approval of the survey and assessment of identified objects of accumulated damage with the attachment of: (a) data, obtained from the results of identifying objects of accumulated damage, in accordance with the procedure for identifying objects of accumulated damage; (b) a list of activities for inspection and assessment of objects of accumulated damage; (c) information on the timing of implementation of measures to survey and assess objects of accumulated damage; (d) information about testing laboratories (centers) accredited in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on accreditation in the national accreditation system, which plan to involve government authorities of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, local governments, indicating the relevant area of accreditation.
