These Regulations entered into force on 15 May 2004.
Résumé

The present Regulations establish the quality standards to be met by any propagation material of fruit trees or fruit trees intended for fruit production, produced, placed on the market in Malta or being transhipped through Malta prior to its transport to another European Community Member State. The scope encompasses the species and genera and their hybrids listed in Schedule I. These provisions shall not apply to propagation material or fruit trees intended to be exported to third countries if properly identified as such and kept sufficiently isolated.
