It provides for the protection of forests and their products, by mean of restrictions applied in terms of felling trees, harvest fruit or honey, gather firewood or samplings, let cattle grazing, remove stones or minerals, all of those included in the concept of forest products. Licenses for collecting forest products shall be issued by the competent authority , with varying terms of validity and expiration according to the different products. Reserved forests shall be wholly protected and no operations allowed in their boundaries. All licensed products shall be liable to royalties paid to the Forest Officer.
