Résumé The present Ordinance is contained in article 5 of the Ordinance of 8 August 2007 (BGBl. I 1816) implementing common hygienic foodstuff provisions. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to veterinary controls upon the import and transit of foodstuff of animal origin from third countries. In particular, it applies to foodstuff and if mentioned expressly also to animals.
