The Proclamation also states that " Her Majesty will exercise the same jurisdiction in respect of fisheries in the said fisheries zone as She has in respect of fisheries in the territorial waters of the Turks and Caicos Islands subject to such provisions as may be made by law for the control and regulation of fishing within the said zone".
