The new sections concern: retention of fees by the Department of Fisheries Resources in a Fund established for the purpose; establishment of a registry of all persons issued with licences under this Act; and issuing of a certificate of vessel ownership and a fishing vessel identification plate together with the fishing vessel licence. The amendments in sections 2 and 13 and the Schedule concern conversion of shillings in currency points.
