Résumé

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the implementation of the Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH). In particular, article 1 establishes that pursuant to article 121 of the afore-mentioned Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, the present Act appoints the Federal Minister for Agriculture and Forestry, the Environment and Water Resources as the competent authority responsible for ensuring the enforcement of legislation concerning the marketing and use of chemicals.
