Section 4 requires a licence to be obtained for commercial felling. Exempted land shall be used for agricultural purposes as certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. All felling of logs in the land shall comply with the terms and conditions of the special permit to be issued by the Commissioner of Forest and records of logs felled, exported and/or sold In Solomon Islands shall be furnished to the Commissioner of Forest. A person who contravenes any of the clauses in this Order is deemed to have committed an offence under section 4 of the Act, as if the exemption were not granted under this Order.
