According to these Regulations, exclusive economic zone is defined as an area beyond and adjacent to the territorial sea, a distance of 200 nautical miles from the baselines from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured. The geographic coordinates of the outer limits of exclusive economic zone are listed in the Schedules, in accordance with the bilateral agreements.
