These regulations set out, for the purposes of sections 100A and 100B of the Act: a) information that must be included in a decommissioning plan (regulations ; to 11); b) the process by which the EPA must deal with a decommissioning plan that is submitted for acceptance; and c) the criteria against which the EPA must assess a decommissioning plan when deciding whether to accept it (regulations 20 to 23). The EPA must undertake public consultation on a decommissioning plan.
