The amendment implement Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the indication by labelling and standard product information of the consumption of energy and other resources by energy-related products. These Regulations oblige dealers of energy-related products covered by an implementing measure to ensure that an energy label is displayed properly to end-users for products offered for sale, hire or hire-purchase.
