Each importer, packer, exporter and processor of dried fruit shall keep complete records as specfied for each calendar month in respect of dried fruit handled, imported or exported by him or her. This measure is necessary to ensure that continuous, up-to-date and accurate information relating to the products as defined, is available to all role players the in market of such products. "Dried deciduous fruit" means apricots, apples, nectarines, pears, peaches, prunes and vine fruit (raisins, seedless raisins, sultanas and currants) sujected to a drying process.
