Résumé

These Regulations provide for the control of substances as set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations ("controlled substances"). The National Environment Management Authority shall, in consultation with the relevant lead agency, prepare and submit to the Minister for approval, a list of controlled substances, divided into three groups according to content of ozone depleting substances. The Regulations further provide with respect to, among other things: packing and labelling of controlled substances, storage, distribution, transportation or handling a controlled substances, disposal of controlled substances, manufacturing of controlled substances, export and import of controlled substances, monitoring of activities of the licensees, permits for single consignments and controlled substances in transit. Manufacture, importation and exportation of controlled licences requires a licence from the Authority, which may impose any conditions upon the licence it deems necessary for the compliance with these Regulations.
