Résumé The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the assessment of environmental impact connected with mining activities. Article 1 establishes that the exploitation of coal, charcoal, brown coal, ore and any other non energetic minerals is subject to an environmental assessment test. The Ordinance requires for reporting on the expected environmental impact of the project including information on the identity of all substances and the nature of groundwater, above-ground waters, soil and rocks in the possible area of influence of the projects.
