Résumé The purpose of this Act is to ensure that the country's electricity supply is organized and implemented in accordance with the interests of security, economic, environment and consumer protection. The Act applies to the production, transport, trade and supply of electricity through planning of projects and initiatives. It does not include activities regulated by Act no. 292 of 10 June 1981 on certain marine installations. Energy production may include incineration of waste, energy production on sea (wind turbines etc.) in the EEZ, renewable energy such as biogas, biomass, solar and wave energy, hydroelectricity.
