Regulation 3 prescribes duties of the owner of the animal affected by the disease with regards to notification, whereas regulation 5 defines the duties of owners of infected animals regarding the keeping of such animals. The Inspector appointed under the Ordinance may give directions regarding dealing with affected poultry or items that came into contact with diseases animals. No animal shall be moved in or out infected places and no defined items shall be removed from such place. Regulation 8 concerns disposal of infected animals, whereas regulation 13 concerns eggs or meat obtained from infected animals. Regulation 12 concerns quarantine of diseases swine.
