A person may, however, have a pig in his or her possession or under his or her control on a holding that has not been assigned an Aujeszky’s disease health status until an Aujeszky’s disease health status category has been assigned to the holding. The Minister shall assign an Aujeszky’s disease health status specified in the Second Schedule to the holding. Tests shall be carried out every four months to maintain an assigned status. Restrictions on movement and exportation and importation of pigs are introduced.
