This Decree enters into force on 15 September 2010.

Résumé

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Regional Development, which is composed of six articles and four Annexes, establishes: (a) the list of paints, varnishes and products containing organic solvents for refinishing buildings, structures, buildings, fixtures and fittings (called regulated products); (b) the maximum limit values ??for volatile organic compounds, (c) the way of labeling regulated products; (d) requirements to reduce emissions of volatile organic compounds due to the use of organic solvents in regulated products. The purpose of the present Decree is to limit the total content of volatile organic compounds in certain paints and varnishes and vehicle refinishing products with a view to preventing or reducing air pollution.
