Résumé This Decree regulates article 21 of New Forestry Code (Act No. 4.771). It consists of 11 articles establishing that every industries, using timber products for their activities (with a consumption level of vegetal charcoal higher than 4,000 m3 per year) must exploit a private forest. It establishes as well that Ibama is the competent authority for carrying out controls and managing this sector.
